The name Dana is inspired by the city where Hobie surfboards originated (Dana Point, CA). We started with by making a board for larger riders who have been searching for performance in a true surf style model. The winged tail section makes for super easy turning, and the wide platform makes sure that you big guys always have the stability you need.  This board has added carbon wrapped stringer for flex when you need it and stiffness when you're powering through turns.
